Preliminary Mortality Results

Abstract

The counts of maternal and neonatal deaths were recorded at district levels for the 10 regions in Ghana from Jan 2012 to Dec 2016 (60 months). The total number of mothers at delivery and total live-births were also recorded. Data has a 3-tier hierarchical structure with counts nested within districts and the districts nested within regions. The districts are unique across regions.
