Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

En cuanto a las características de los envíos:

  • El envío no debe haber sido publicado previamente ni encontrarse sometido a consideración por ninguna otra revista.
  • El archivo debe enviarse en formato Microsoft Word 2017 en adelante (docx), LibreOffice (odt) o Rich Text Format (rtf).
  • La extensión del manuscrito no ha de superar las 10,000 palabras, incluyendo notas a pie de página, referencias y cuadros o gráficos. Si es una reseña, su extensión no debe superar las 2,000 palabras.
  • El tipo de letra a usar es Times New Roman a 12 puntos.
  • Los márgenes superior, inferior, izquierdo y derecho deben ser de 3 centímetros.
  • El interlineado debe ser a un espacio y medio. No hay que dejar más de un salto de línea entre párrafos. 
  • No deben usarse macros ni viñetas de adorno.
  • No deben usarse encabezados ni pies de página.
  • Las cursivas se usarán sólo para voces extranjeras y publicaciones (títulos de libros, de revistas y de periódicos).
  • En la portada deben incluirse el título del texto (en mayúsculas), el resumen en español y en inglés (150 palabras) y las palabras clave en español y en inglés (cinco), separadas por punto y coma.
