Global Village Review is a journal dedicated to the exploration, criticism, and development of topical issues on the African continent of concern to Africans on the continent and those in the diaspora. 

GVR is concerned with questions of research and application. GVR Papers are article-length manuscripts (9,000-word max) by scholars from a broad range of disciplines, disseminating materials at a late stage of formulation that contribute new understandings of pan-africanism amidst economic, social, and political change. Scholars from diverse fields and theoretical orientations are invited to participate in its conferences and publications.
