Abstract

A report on the archaeological investigations carried out in the vicinity of the Parasgarh-Nagbhir hills in the East Chimur region of Chandrapur district, Maharashtra. It reports on the excavations carried out at the Megalithic localist of Hirapur, represented by a mortuary complex of dolmen, cain stone circles and menhirs. Further, explorations in the hills reports on rock art localities.
