Abstract

This file takes a leap from the 16th to the 18th century. The classical periodization of history would tell us that it is the first
modernity. But readers will see that the trials show us that there are different evolutionary levels in each period. Not all society evolves at the same rate. There are frames of action and representation that prevail beyond what the
periodizations tell us. Le Goff was already telling us about a long Middle Ages. Today we would say that the ruptures or continuities depend on the stratum of the society that is studied.
